From interpretations in a courtroom setting to one-on-one and small group services, Dominguez SP Interpreters currently offers interpretation for Spanish, Portuguese, and Khmer. Types of Interpretations Offered

The type of interpretation needed depends largely on the size of of the group and setting. Dominguez SP Interpreters provides three main services to help facilitate communications and interactions between two or more languages.

  • Consecutive Interpretation

    Most used in small group or individual settings, consecutive interpretation is conducted by the interpreter listening to the speaker, notating, and reproducing what the speaker has said for the audience. This can be conducted in-person, over-the-phone, or via video share platform. 

  • Simultaneous Interpretation

    As its name implies, simultaneous interpretation provides interpretation in real-time. This eliminates the downtime experienced in consecutive interpretation, making it especially useful for large groups and live events. 


    Simultaneous interpretation is much more complex than consecutive interpretation, requiring that the interpretor listen to the speaker via a headset and then speak the translation into a device. Dominguez SP Interpreters is equipped with state-of-the-art audio equipment and transmitters, allowing our interpreters to provide live interpretations of up to two different languages!

  • Over-the-Phone/Video Interpretations

    Our interpreters cater to clients worldwide, along with our in-person services. We are happy to provide our interpretation services by phone or via a video streaming platform.
